Prosecutor asks from 3 to 9 years in prison for Minsk anarchists

The state prosecutor asks to give different terms of imprisonment to five anarchists.

The state prosecutors asks the court to find them guilty in violation part 2 of article 339 of the Criminal Code (malicious hooliganism) and part 3 of article 218 (intentional destruction of or damage to property). Besides, Frantsevich is charged with unauthorized access to computer information, computer sabotage, using and spreading malware programmes, BelaPAN reports.

The state prosecutor thinks the statements by witnesses on giving them evidence under pressure were not true, because they did not complain to any agencies.

He demands to sentence Mikalai Dzyadok to six years in a medium security penal colony, Ihar Alinevich to nine years in a medium security penal colony and confiscation of property, Alyaksandr Frantsevich to five years in a medium security penal colony, Maksim Vetkin to four years of restriction of liberty, Yauheny Selivonchyk to three years of restriction of liberty.

The trial is conducted by judge Zhanna Khvainitskaya.
